We're currently working out at the Williams Martial Arts and Fitness place by the Food Lion. Our membership is just about up and we're thinking of switching to another gym, ideally one with a variety of aerobics classes. Where does everyone here go, and why do you like your gym? Also, someone mentioned a while back that World Gym was opening a new facility on Red Rum, off Waxpool. Does anyone know anything about that?

    Thanks!

I work out at the Ashburn Fitness Center (NextHealth) it's right on Claiborne on the other side of 267. I have no complaints other than the price. It's fairly quiet most of the time -- there is never a wait for any of the equipment. It's also very clean and the equipment is new. Overall it's one of the nicest gyms I've belonged to, but it is on the expensive side.

Anyone going to Golds over by Ashburn Village? How are the aerobics classes? How much are the dues for 2 adults?

you can do month to months with golds.. they typically just give you bigger discounts if you do a contract. I got a deep discounted rate and was able to 'lock it in' by doing a contract and paying up front. I was going to go anyways.. so I won out.

I think most people pay on the order of 35-45 for Golds last I asked around.
