We tried Happy Chopsticks last night and enjoyed their carry-out. The food was ready quickly and was fresh and tasty. Their prices are pretty good, too. We got a ton of food for $55. Plenty for six adults and five kids with enough for leftovers. (2 orders of large soup, 8 spring rolls, dumplings, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Kung Pao, General Tso's, and some sautéed vegetables)

The only negative for me was that their sauce for the Kung Pao chicken was a little too sweet. Oh, and they forgot the fortune cookies!

I think my family has found their new Chinese carry out place.

Whoops - Posted this in the wrong forum. Can someone move it to Local Restaurants? Thanks.

my family's loyalty to Cafe Opera prevents us from trying this place. that and the fact that i only want Asian food once a quarter....

We tried Happy Chopsticks. They did a great job!

The menu does indicate that they charge for fortune cookies.

In the shopping plaza where the Dunkin Donuts is located, about 3 doors down to the left of Cafe Opera. It's where the dry cleaner used to be I believe...

Wow...only in Cashburn would they try and charge for fortune cookies! Yikes.

I ordered from them last night and here is my experience.

    Fried rice, very good
    fried dumplings, yum oh yum
twice cooked pork, spicer than my son is used to but still good
fried chicken wings, no breading the way my daughter likes but were good
hot and sour soup, would not get again
    eggsrolls, typical chinese eggrolls.

I went to pick the order up and the chicken wings took about 10 minutes longer but the guys were very nice. I got 5 fortune cookies (whether due to the wait or because that's normal) and I think the price on the menu is extra. Doesn't hurt to ask. I didn't realize until I got home that they had given us any.

Food is great and they were very meticulous. I like Cafe Opera too but I hope Happy Chopsticks does well.

A friend of mine ordered take-out from them over the weekend. They are usually 'Cafe Opera' patrons. Their review of Happy Chopsticks? "Cafe Opera needs to step up their game".

We had a child at Winwood when "Mr. Johnny" was the cook (Mr. Johnny is the owner of Happy Chopsticks). We couldn't compete at home. I love Cafe Opera but am always open to try new things.

There's a pic on the counter of Mr. Johnny and the Winwood staff. A nice touch.

This isn't accurate. Fortune cookies are gratis...might've just been an oversight.

We tried Happy Chopsticks this week for the first time. Great food! I had the Moo Shu Chicken and my wife had the Kung Pao Beef. Both get high marks. We're glad to see Mr. Johnny finally open his restaurant and would encourage everyone to give his place a shot!

The person doing the Web site is the same one who did the business plan.

So, how much are the fortune cookies?
