it is still open and still WONDERFUL. i was in a state of bliss with a single scoop of Raspberry brownie hand dipped ice cream... i don't even typically LIKE ice cream but THIS stuff just melts in your mouth and is rich and flavorful with out being too creamy, know what i mean? gotta try it at least once- it's a beautiful place!

    Hello,

As many of you know the Hawaiian Scoop has gone out business, but there is good news for those who loved their Lappert's ice cream and dole whip...

Java Jones Ice Cream Cafe will be opening up in May in the same location and will serve Lappert's ice cream and dole whip! In addition, we will have a full service espresso bar, pastries, sandwiches, salads and more!

While you enjoy a scoop, smoothie or cappuccino feel free to watch the plasma TVs and surf the web on our free wifi!

My name is Tim and I am the owner of Java Jones Ice Cream Cafe. We are very excited to join the neighborhood and look forward to giving Ashburn residents a chance to break away from the chains on every corner.

Look for coupons in the Consumer's eye and the united marketing coupon pak (like valpak but the one with the big blue ribbon) We will also be a vendor at the Broadlands concert series.

    Hope to see everyone soon!

    Java Jones-

Thanks for the good news. We look forward to you opening.

One thing we would like to see you have is a premium quality hot fudge - not the kind in bulk from a plastic jug, but the kind grandma makes. Also, real whipped cream.

Being fortunate enough to be next door to Java Jones, we have been the lucky recipients of samples as they prepare to open. YUM!!! Their stuff is terrific!!!

We really appreciate all the suggestions! Please keep them coming!

We will have a premium old fashioned hot fudge. (Looking into that Peanut butter sauce too!) Look for coupons coming out in the next consumer's eye magazine!

Sounds like there are some EV fans in here. I have personally had 4 meals from them and they all have been fantastic! My personal favorite is the Southwest Chicken Casserole. The only thing that could make it better is a scoop of Lappert's ice cream for dessert (shameless plug).
