HDTV OTA reception?

    I would also "second" others advice to not buy a TV with a built-in HDTV receiver. There really isn't anything to installing a receiver and you won't be forced to upgrade your tv in a couple of years if technology or standards change (which they probably will). My advice would be to buy a tv that has a DVI connection (as well as component-in.) That way, you will be ready for the future.

    $403 - inclusive. He did not have to run a coax feed, it was already in place. I had the builder put it in during construction.

    Teak, I'm in Overland Park and very happy with the Samsung SIR-T160 for DirectTV using a Radio Shack VHF/UHF combo antenna in the attic, receiving a half dozen local DC channels. All the DC locals have plenty of signal here.
