Thank you, I just wanted the other forum members to understand that we have lived here since 2002 and in this house since 2003 and we have never posted on this forum and we are doing this out of sheer frustration. These pictures speak for themselves.....

How about planting a tall and wide row of bushes that will grow fast and block the nasty view? Maybe one with great smelling flowers like snowball viburnum or lilac? Or no smell like forsithia or I think Chinese Evergreen? Or arborvitae?

No one wants the cost to do this but the peace of mind may be worth it.

I would have to think that the HOA can do something about this.
According to the Broadlands Association and Southern Walk at Broadlands homeowners Manual,
Article 8, Section 8.2, paragraph i (page 38 in the Declaration section):
"no accumulation of litter, refuse, bulk materials, building materials or trash of any other kind shall be permitted on any Lot."

Jersey mom - I can see why you are upset and frustrated. I would hate to look at that every day too.

Thanks for posting the pix... they speak 1000 words =) We've gotten fined by the HOA for much less than this!

Anyways, if you would like to feel good about your situation and have a nice chuckle, check out this page:

Now that you have seen the pictures from today, from our point of view, would you get upset looking at this (or worse) everyday?

At this point, this thread is simply becoming an extension of an issue between a resident and a neighbor. Jersey Mom was instructed to contact the HOA Board of Directors and ask to directly address the Board at the next meeting. It is up to her to take it to the next level of the appropriate process. This is NOT the proper place to get a situation such as this resolved.

As such, we are now closing this thread. Jersey Mom, please address the Board of Directors directly; this is not the proper forum to resolve your 'issue'.

    Thank you.
