for replacement of a few shingles that blew off in the wind storm? Looking for ballpark, what people around Broadlands have paid recently for similar work. Thanks!

If it's not too much to ask, could you share your answer with the rest of us? I think others here might benefit.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Thought I'd reply as we too were affected by the recent winds and actually just had Loudoun Valley Roofing come today and they replaced some shingles, checked and replaced some collars and caulking up there and fixed up a piece of siding as well. We were told they charge $250 for up to an hour and that includes up to 25 shingles.

Good luck and hopefully we are at or near the end of the high wind season!

Wow - we were charged more than two and a half times that much.

Apex Roofing would charge about $175 for the same service.

    Hi again,

Good suggestion too and we have used Apex in the past as well and were pleased especially when he (Kirk I think?) sent out a crew right away when we needed a temporary repair of multiple pieces of siding blown off in one day. What a relief!

Only complaint with Apex was that we found it challenging to get a hold of them. Maybe/hopefully just an isolated experience for us?

Best wishes with the roof...after watching the men work up there today, we are sure thankful there are good folks willing to climb up THREE stories to make these important repairs so we can sleep better at night...especially rainy nights!

It was a bit of a problem for him for a while when he lost his secretary/office assistant. He has another one in place now.

Thanks for the info! Next time I'll check out the recommended companies. BTW, Roofer911 charged $650 for <10 shingles plus $450 for some additional work.
