    Hey all,

I'm in the market for a new company to perform Service Contracts on my single zone unit at my SW townhouse. I've been calling around today, and there's just so many companies to choose from that I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread here where we all compile our collective knowledge and see just what each is paying and what services we are receiving with the contract.

    I have been using

    ME FLow (703) 777.2311
    Contract: $140/year
Includes: Fall & Spring Inspections, 15% off Part and Labor

Notes: Nothing outstanding about them good or bad. On time and courteous staff. Looking around for a better deal - not having much luck.

    I have searched:

    Cardinal HVAC (703) 430.4040
    Contract: 1-$189/year, 2-$329/year, 3-$468/year
Includes: 10% of Parts & Labor, Inspects still $109 each (Yikes!)

    McCrea (800) 788.6216
Contract: 1 Year Each, Wants to Inspect system @ $69.95 charge before Service Contract.
    Gold: (Waiting for call-back)
Includes:Fall & Spring Inspections, Full Labor and Parts Coverage
(Some exclusions of course), Emergency "No Heat"

    Silver: (Waiting for call-back)
Includes:Fall & Spring Inspections, Full Labor (Some Exclusions)
10% off Parts, Emergency "No Heat"

    Bronze: (Waiting for call-back)
    Includes:Fall & Spring Inspections, 10% off Parts & Labor
    Emergency "No Heat"

    Air Comfort Specialist (703) 771.9481
Contract: None, small company. $109 per inspection.

    Please add away!

I can't remember the cost off the top of my head, but AD Plumbing and Heating is who I use. I have been using them for years and trust Anthony to do what he says he will.

We had a horrible experience with ME Flow. I would never recommend them.

Interesting, I have been a loyal ME Flow customer for years, always on time, always dependable, and always have done right by us. I believe you get a 15% Discount on parts and labor with a service contract.

I had been using Cropp Metcalfe for years until I wanted to install 2 HD programmable thermo and a inline humidifier. I found SSI and they did it for half the price, I was so impressed with the technicians that they sent out I got rid of my annual contract with Cropp and went with SSI, plus they were a bit cheaper.
