I have been using a daycare (home daycare) for months now, but my child has been ill quite a bit with colds, etc... I am now contemplating at home care for my little one. I am interested in possibly nanny sharing with someone else. OR taking a recommendation for a nanny. Not live-in.

Any suggestions? My little one is 10months.

My pediatrician told me that colds are pretty common during the winter/spring months. My child is in daycare.

Yeah that is true but since January my child has had three bouts of pink eye, now working on her third cold and had the rotavirus to boot. That's a lot of illness in a group of 5.

My daycare person has started to institute a stricter policy with parents sneaking in their kids by giving them tyenol in the a.m. so hopefully that will help or this year has just been a rough year for that kind of stuff.

My child has had several bouts of pink eye too. We talked to our pediatrician about that. They said that blocked tear ducts, which are common in children up to age 1, are cause pink eye infections.
I was concerned about my child's illnesses and talked to our pediatrician about it and they seemed to think that they were normal childhood illnesses. I think this year has been pretty rough on the kids too.

It is good to know that's what your doctor thought. Because I was wondering just how bad of a year it has been.
