Home Repair iron fencing on front porches

    For those of you who have had your porch rails rust and break off!!!!! I went and received several estimates for repairing this problem. Armor Fence wanted $2200 dollars to replace the three small rails. They would not consider just repairing the broken one. I went with Reliable Rails - for $300 they came out right away and repaired the rail for $300!!!! It's as good as new after a little paint.

    Habitat, ours is headed in that direction. What was involved with the repair -resoldering, new rails, brackets at the base? Thank you.

    They put new rails on each end, cleaned out the post holes and recemented them in. They did a terrific job
