Lost Items missing from front porch

We often leave items for people to pick up from our front porch, and never had a problem. Sometime yesterday or today a cardboard box and Safeway reusable freezer bag disappeared from next to my front door (SFH on Chickacoan Trail Drive). I'm at a loss for where they might have gone. Does anyone know if there were Purple Heart or similar pickups in our neighborhood this weekend? Maybe they picked up my things by mistake and I can call them.

The items included a box of brand new Boy Scout manuals and some Cub Scout pins and certificates, and I'm very anxious to get them back as soon as possible. If someone took them and would like to return them I'll offer a reward no questions asked.

On Ridgeway Drive, must have been Thursday...A rental type truck was picking up all kinds of stuff. Looked like maybe Purple Heart that sends out the yellow postcards, but the truck was definitely a rental box truck. And again, it wasn't this weekend...Good luck finding it.

 

National Children's Center was in Ashburn Village on Friday doing pickups.

 

Thanks! Usually those folks leave a receipt, and I didn't get any receipt (!) so I think some individual MUST have come by and taken this by mistake. I'm really hoping to get it back - like I said NO QUESTIONS ASKED and I will offer a cash reward.

 

Thanks to those of you who contacted me with suggestions. If it weren't about the Scouts I wouldn't be pestering everyone so much, but I'm going to try every angle to see if I can recover these items. I am now calling everyone who comes around picking up donations so I can at least rule them out. So far I know of National Children's Center (left a message) and Purple Heart (they were definitely not out collecting here this weekend). The items were taken between approx 11am on Saturday and noon on Sunday. If you know of another organization that collects around here please let me know!

I looked around the neighborhood thinking if it was just people messing around they might have ditched it somewhere, but no luck. If you notice a grocery freezer bag (white with a light blue bottom) or a cardboard box containing Boy Scout manuals, around your yard or common area, please let me know!
