Did anyone else follow the recent Jeopary tournament of champions? My spouse and I were so disappointed by the lackluster appearance of Ken Jennings. It was if he was not really trying to win and his demeanor was not the same Ken we had enjoyed watching in the past. In fact, the outcome of the tournament reminded my spouse and I of the movie "Game Show."

Anyhow, this tournament has made us lose our appeal for Jeopardy for awhile.

Well ... he made his money, now he's making commercials and getting residuals from that. I also read somewhere that someone is planning to build a TV series around him, not exactly sure what the premise is though.

They are making a game show around Ken Jennings and I believe it is going to be on Comedy Central.

It COULD be that he considered the others his intellectual equals and as such, was subdued out of mutual respect. Just a thought.

In my view, he did not have the demeanor of someone who came on a tournament to win...rather like he had to be there almost against his will. The change in his demeanor has not given me any interest to watch any additional shows or programs featured around him.

I don't know if I would classify him as subdued either..again, he seemed like he was not interested in trying to win and was there only out of the obligation.

But the guy who won was quite good. And who knows, if he'd been on Jeopardy after they got rid of the limit he may have been Ken's winnings.
