oh why did I look at this thread before going jogging tonight???? nice kittie, nice kittie....
Oh, you naughty, naughty girl!
When I was young, there was a mountain lion passing through near my grandmother's farm in Annapolis. Don't think I'll ever forget the sound of the scream it makes. My dad went out after it a couple of times but never found the mountain lion before it moved on.
Now THAT is funny!
I think I have seen something like that too! We caught it on our game cam. We live in Arkansas, it looks like raccoon, house cat, mountain lion, just a bunch of animals in one. The tail was about as long as the whole body with a black stripe down.
thanks for your help
OMG- my son and hubby saw that thing once! they couldn't figure out what it was. i didn't see it but that description fits what they said.
This is another angle
although very weird looking, that's not what I saw. Mine was way much larger, all tan, and a black tipped tail. Your animal is still a creepy looking animal!!!
I want a game-cam!
It appears to be a cat. What is it that makes it look so weird?
I snapped this photo of such an animal last night in the field across from Harris Teeter....it seemed rather menacing.
you found my kitty!!! ;D
that isn't really from here is it?!?!?
no of course not. weak humor.
weak humor- strong agoraphobic reaction.
A co-worker who lives on the ridge near Mt. Weather said that he has seen a mountain lion up there. A few years ago there was a report in the newspaper that a mountain lion was spotted in a tree near Lovettsville.
Try to remember not to run away and to look as big as possible.
I was walking my dog 10/17 at 8:00 AM and a large cat resembling a bobcat came out of the woods near the Nature Center. It ran like a large wildcat. Stared me down, then ducked into the woods behind Dunkin' Donuts. Posted by James William.
Correction to my post. Location was Community Pool area not Nature Center. Posted by James William
I just saw this post. After watching the game last night, I say we round up any of these animals we find and deliver them the the Skins practice field.
Maybe a little wild cat will help them.......
I heard someone saw a BEAR on Ridgeway the night before last!
