I have an abundance of these little flying "creatures" in my garden and yard - particularly in the "damper" areas of my yard. They are very small. I believe they particularly like a potted mum on my front stoop. Does anyone know how to get rid of them or how long they will last? They have been around for about 10 days.....

Are these 'creatures' tiny white flying bugs? If so, they are the weirdest creatures I have come across. They only exit on ONE side of my driveway, and not on the other. In the morning, they will be on the drivers side of the car, and nowhere else. Must be the direction of the sun or something. Either way, I have NEVER seen these little bugs before until about 3 weeks ago and they are VERY tiny, and bright white...

Yeah I saw a ton of them yesterday when I was leaving work. It was almost as if they all decided to come out all at once.

I was afraid I was going to start breathing them in because there was so many of them.

They'll be gone after Friday and Saturday night's frost.

    Wes,

I've been monitoring your site as well. It's really cool. I've bookmarked it. If you're so inclined can you open up a thread and profile your experience and equipment? Even if you don't I still enjoy checking it out.

I hope they are gone soon, the "swarms" are getting a tad annoying! Thanks for the input, I was wondering if there was something in my yard, other than the usual stuff, that may be attracting them.

Per the frost warning, will it be severe enough that we will have to cover plants??? I want the little flying buggers to be gone, but would prefer to keep my geraniums another day or two!!

Oh, Wes, Very cool website! You definitely should open up a new thread highlighting your "Meteorological" side! I wasn't aware we had our very own weather-watcher here in the Broadlands!
