Too many bad experiences at Best Buy. Anyone know of a good local shop?

I've never taken a computer anywhere for repair, but I've been able to do a lot myself just by asking other people on the internet. What's broken on your computer?

there are a ton of people in this neighborhood that know a lot about computers...myself included that could help. If you could provide a description of what is happening, that would help.

Or I am sure that someone could take a look at it, either at your house of if you can bring it somewhere...if it is local. Hard to tell you what to do without at least a little idea about the problem (windows, hardware, power, etc.)

I saw a Computer Wingman car driving around Ashburn and thought that's what I need! So I searched them out and called them. The person who answered the phone said he wasn't the person who could tell me anything about what they do, that would have to be the manager. I left a message. The manager called back to leave me a message to call him back. I called him back and left a message. He never replied. I was disappointed because I still think this is what I need but it's a lot of work to try to become a customer. Anyone have luck using that business?

A place called Austin Tech on Beaumeade (near where the post office used to be) does computer repairs and sells parts. I've bought parts there but haven't had a computer repaired.

I love Austin Tech! I have also bought parts and refurbished items there. It's a great store.
