Making a difference...

I've noticed that we have a number of different clubs and activities in Broadlands in which groups may meet on a weekly or monthly basis. I'd like to also advise of a unique opportunity to make a difference! Yes...I finally returned to work part time and found a great organization with a lot happening and which also welcomes volunteers -- Peace X Peace (PXP). PXP focuses primarily on promoting global peace through the resources of women however that DOES NOT imply that men are excluded. PXP has had some very exciting accomplishments which include a documentary that was debued at the UN and then aired on PBS. While there are numerous volunteer opportunities and desires to establish more sister circles, I am always on the lookout for those willing to offer linguistic support!
