Has anyone been to this salon for a haircut, color or highlighting? If so - would you recommend it and the person you used?

Modern Concepts is great! I'm a regular customer, I used to go to Dejure Salon but found that they were always squeezing in more appointments, and I ended up waiting up to 45 min to get seen, even though I had an appointment.
Modern Concept knows the meaning of great customer service !
Alexa does my haircut and color and does a great job.The owner, Anna Michelle, who is from Scotland, is very popular too.I highly recommend them.

Mama Bear - thanks so much for the feedback. I, too, go to Dejure Salon and have been a LONG time customer of Sima no matter where she was. However, the last few times I've gone, I've found that I don't get the attention that I feel I'm entitled to because they do try to sqeeze more clients in. I had a cut and color in Nov. and she left me under the dryer for more than an hour.....she was with another client and totally ignoring me. I finally pushed the dryer top up and went over to her and asked her if she forgot about me. There were many more episodes as well, so after this last time - I decided to find another place. I'll give Modern Concepts a call. Thanks again!

I've been there a few times. I find them to be overpriced and tricky about their prices. You go in expecting to know what you are paying and somehow they tack on an additional $20 for some gloss they put on without asking you or telling you it is costing you extra.

Two of the stylists there cut your hair w/ you standing up. It's a french style apparently, but if you are like me you want to sit down and relax while getting your hair done, not stand still for 10 minutes with wet hair.

In addition, a newer stylist ruined my color and was extremely rude when I asked her to fix it (which she ended up not being able to do but claimed she did). By that time I was just ready to leave while I still had hair.
