Morrison Model - Southern Walk

We live in the Morrison model (single family) in southern walk and our family room is always cold though we set the temparature to about 70. We have 3 windows in that room and there is come cold air seeping through. Could it be because of this? I will have to get this fixed in our 11 month inspection and hope that helps with our gas bills. Has anybody else experienced the same?

 

We have some air seepage around our windows too, Irving Model.

 

Jefferson Model -- same thing. The windows in our house suck.

Kal -- do you have a vaulted ceiling in your family room? If so, that would cause the room to be colder.

 

Wick - I have the regular 9 feet ceiling only.

 

Kal--Do you have a full basement or a crawl space under you're family room? If you have a crawl space, it may be a floor insulation problem.
