    It seems like dining out, restaurants and local establishments are such a popular topic.. that they deserve their own forum.

    Feel free to post discussions, experiences, and whatever about eating out or eating in!

    You may want to consider the category as, something broader like, "Local Recommendations". Food is popular, but so is day care, contractors, plumbers, electricians, carpet cleaning, vets, etc.

    While they are common threads.. they don't seem to generate a real following like the food stuff does. So I think of it more as a 'topic' people are interested rather then just a repeat thread. Plus, many of the 'recommendation' threads are from newer users who may not find the sub-catagories, etc. I thought about it.. but I think I will leave those in General for now :)

    flynnibus and fellow foodies--

    I will be HAPPY to post all my threads for FOODIE related items here. Tasty morsels for moms and dads!! Just kidding!!

    Since I have a food science degree and consumer education degree--I have a huge resource list. IF YOU ASK--I WILL SUPPLY INFO ON THIS THREAD.

    Also, I will add places to shop online for foodies, consumer news of all types, etc. I freelance and consult for organic food companies; and I write food articles for various publications, web-based companies, etc. all types of food related information. I also provide information on nutrition related sources and can obtain the information if I do not have it myself. Feel free to ask--
