A representative from Potomac Doors came to my house the other week looking to see if I needed garage door repairs or replacement on my 2-car garage. I was quoted $1500.00 for two (2) new 3-layer doors with all hardware (minus openers) and disposal of old doors. I have since spoken with Potomac Doors about the price and they stated if I were to get 2-3 other home owners in the area to sign-up for door/doors replacement, they would drop the price to $800.00 for everyone involved. I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH POTOMAC DOORS. I am just looking to reduce the price of my garage door replacement. If you need to have your garage doors replaced, call me at (703) 727-5795 and we can talk with Potomac Doors about (I have the original quote and literature for you to see) saving some money!

Are these the kind of doors that have the steel panel in them and have tinted windows? I got the same price from another company and never did it.

They are galvanized steel on the outside, foam insulation in the middle and then another galvanized panel on the inside (facing inside the garage). There are options for window panels but my original estimate was for doors without them. I can email you their brochure and the quote if you like.

Please remember that if you alter the style of the garage door, you will need to get approval from the Modifications Sub-committee.

Yeah yeah I know. I own my home but need approval to do anything to it. I have seen these doors are multiple homes in the area so I know they are HOA compliant. But of course, I'll permission first.
