I called yesterday and now have to play phone tag. Now hundreds of people have to do the same, what are the odds this will end up good? Zero! This is unnacceptable. Not HOAs fault, but NV should already know who they delivered to and who didn't and I expect HOA to at least try to relieve the burden on the home owners.

I called when it shouldn't have been busy. No call back! No can. Do you honestly think this will work??!!

[edit] Just called again, same phone message. I hope they call me back this time.

I just called and the woman told me that her driver would be delivering through Sunday to the Broadlands. I told her my entire street (Autumnwood Sq) of THs had not received anything yet.

    1 phone + 100+ calls = angry residents + no trashcan

We got our toter this morning (SW Courtyards).

I'm going to call to see if I can get a different color. This is just hideous!

While I agree they are a horrid shade of green, I don't think they have a choice of colors.

    LOL... too funny.

Another question, what are we suppose to do with the recycle bins that have not been picked up? If anyone wants one let me know, i don't need two of them.

Put them out to the curb for NV to pick up! I enjoyed watching the NV truck gobble up the AAA stuff that they (meaning AAA) didn't want to bother picking up!

Here's the latest. First a little background:
When Wes and I met with the owner of New Vision to set up the service, we discussed the issue of delivery of toters to townhouses. I had suggested that we notify townhouse residents that toters would be available at no charge, and all they had to do was call NV to receive one. I wanted to do it this way because i was fairly certain a lot of townhouse residents would not want one, particularly those that have no garage. NV insisted it would be easier to deliver them all, and pick up the ones residents did not want.

Sure enough, when they started delivering, a lot of townhouse residents did not want them, so they stopped and asked that we inform the townhouse residents that if they want one, to call them for it. This is not acceptable because, as my good friend Homer Simpson pointed out, we have no way to comminicate this change effectively.

So, we instructed NV today to deliver toters to ALL townhouses as they originally intended. Anyone that receives one and does not want it, call them to pick it up. They are expecting the shipment of recycle bins on Monday, so hopefully we will all have them next week.

As far as calling them, I have called three times over the past week and the phone was answered each time.

Thanks, Cliff. Maybe they have your number on the screen so they answer. I have yet to get a callback or live person. Again, I'm not complaining b/c of the wait, just that the process became painful.

Homer, I called late yesterday and received a call-back this AM. Of course, it may not have hurt that I dubbed myself "Patient Broadlander". :D

Judging by the "silence", I guess everyone (that posts here) got their toters.

    I am bored, what next?

    Oh Yeah, Recycle Bins! :D

Or, we know how to dial a telephone and take care of it ourselves instead of whining about it...

I seem to be the only one around with a NV trash can. It seems nobody knows how to get a new toter and sadly some still don't realize we've switched companies. Is there another way to get the word out besides this board and the newsletter?
