All toters and recycle bins have been distributed. If you still need one, contact New Vision.

That's flat out wrong Cliff, unless I have one in my driveway when I get home. Whole sections of Broadlands are without as of yesterday, between Demott and Claiborne, the majority did not have them.

Homer, there's one sitting in your driveway; we got ours this morning and they were doing your street as I was leaving at 9am... So Cliff is right and YOU'RE flat out wrong! :naanaa:

They were doing our whole section of townhomes on the east side of Claiborne.

And your whole street got garbage toaters this morning too. I walked the streets to verify myself that they were there

Lol after weeks of hearing they were delivered I couldn't believe it. Yay! Now I need to trade it in for the big one, the one they delivered is smaller then my Home Depot one.

Not everyone on Iredell Terrace has a toter and I've called New Horizen four times asking for one. I've also contacted the HOA so maybe tomorrow?!! But I am not holding my breath.

Hunters Green Square received recycle bins, but no toters (cans). At least they pick up the garbage, just can't find us to drop off cans.

    Let me clarify-
New Vision states they have completed delivery. If you want one and don't have one, call them.
    Homer-
I'll be happy to trade you. I have one of the big ones and would prefer a small one.

    That is just wrong.

Obviously, they have not completed delivery. They havn't even attempted to deliver to some streets. First we were told to call, then to contact HOA and now call again? I guess I need to knock on all my neighbor's doors with the NW contact number and hope they call so I don't have to clean up my street each trash day!

Cliff, this is not an attack on you at all. Just didn't want you to think that. It's so hard to read tone in emails and on message boards!

Also, let the HOA staff know the streets. Again, they administer the contract, and without having this information, the General Manager cannot enforce the contract.

Do not assume that because you do not see toters at your neighbors homes that they were not offered. A lot of people refused them. This is what led to their stopping delivery to the townhouses.

I'm not happy with New Vision's decision to stop delivering toters to all townhouses. They were the ones that insisted they do this in the first place.
Then, when people started refusing them, they decided to stop delivering and asked that people call for them. This was unacceptable to the HOA because we had no way to contact folks to let them know they had to call. We then told New Vision to resume delivering to all townhouses. I think that because of this start/stop process some streets may have been missed.

When all is finally done, I truly believe New Vision will provide a far superior trash service than AAA and I already know it's at a significantly lower cost.

Thank you, Neil. I think what most of us want is for the HOA to enforce the contract with New Visions--which means delivery to ALL residents.

As of this morning I reported several streets that I believe have not recieved toaters yet. Somehow the northern section of townhomes was missed. So a call is going in this morning to New Vision with the following streets to have trash toaters delivered. If there is any street that I missed (I am sorry) please call the HOA office and let them know so they can add you to the list. the list as of this morning is
    Hunters Green
    Falling rock
    Foche Terrace
    Huntsman
    Harvest Green
    Iredell
    Riders Sq
    Newbridge
    Frame Sq
    Center Post
    Bramblebush

so far I have had success in getting these streets recycling bins (as I knew they had not been delivered ) so I hope the same is true it the toaters

I know I can pay extra to get another recycling bin but the ones they delivered to the single family homes are soo small - half the size of AAA. Was this the intent? Did we request smaller recycling bins or was there no option?

There was no options on the recycling bins
if you have one of the small blue ones i will switch you I have one of the large rubbermaide ones and it is too big for me (much larger the the AAA ones in my opinion narrower but deeper) email me if you want to switch
Otherwise because of all the problems we had with the distibution if you call New Vision now that "I believe" everyone has recyling bins my understanding is they will give you the extra bin for free kind of as a thank you for your patience

    their number is 703 830 7908

To correct - Foche Terrace has received neither trash or recycle bins.
