New Grand Opening of Mexican Restaurant at Lansdowne Town Center

i AGREE! we went out to landsdowne last night, and walked into "not your average joes", but the power had been out for an hour, and they were waiting for their ovens to come back on or something, so we went across to emilios, thinking we'd get some good pizza. NOPE. i ended up with a $22 veal marsala that was subpar to carabbas by far! i'll stick with the sterling location.

 

Went to Mariachi's today...um..NOT impressed. It almost seems as if the restaurant is an afterthought in layout & decor...trying to look high class but the food was so not good. The salsa was like onion soup with tomatoes thrown in. And the white table cloths seem out of place. Won't be back. We like Rio Grande MUCH better..best fajitas we've found so far.

 

What's up with the white tableclothes.....I'd rather the food be superior. Is it because they're in Lansdowne? geez...

 

I went to not your average joes yesterday - wonderful place, food was great - service was great - will be there many more times.

 

Not Your Averages Joe's is wonderful = had a great dinner there as well. They don't have the white tableclothes....

FINALLY drove out to Lansdowne :drive:and tried 'El Mariachi' on Sat. p.m. Woweee!!! The BEST salsa and sangrias in the area. Plus, their dinners are oh so tasty Highly recommend if you are craving Spanish/Mexican flavors.
