A new Indian Restaurant with real authentic Indian delicacies has opened in Ashburn. It is called Aasha's and the food is fabulous. They are open for lunch from 11:00-3:00 and dinner from 5:00 p.m. They have a lunch buffet and a dinner buffet.

    Location:
    43761 Parkhurst Plaza Suite # 132
    Ashburn, VA 20147

It is in between Shoppers Food Wearhouse (SFW) and Pizza Hut.
    Check it out!

    :)

I'll check out your place, Ashburn Indian (I assume you are an owner or manager). The previous two places in that spot have had decent food, even though the last incarnation drew a crowd that most in Ashburn would consider unsavory, due to the hooka bar.

While there are no shortage of Indian or Thai places in the area, it's always good to have a lunch and dinner buffet option. Especially for those of you out there who don't like to tip -- this will give you an excuse to not do so.

Was there last week and the food was good.
I tip the same whether it's a buffet or not. Someone still prepares, delivers, and makes sure the food is fresh, brings drinks to the table, and checks in with the customers every now and then. If this is done satisfactorily, you shouldn't tip less just because it's a buffet.

We'll definitely check it out. I haven't been to that shopping center in a while and didn't realize there was a new restaurant.

Not to go off track from the main topic, but I have to agree that we tip the same, if not more sometimes at buffets. The waiters are constantly bringing new plates, refilling drinks, and checking in. I guess it's a case by case situation. =)
