I found a map and more detailed info including the entire menu at:
    http://www.restaurant.com/microsite.asp?rid=337773&rpid=3514

They even have an gift certificate you can purchase online for $10 that is worth $25 towards any purchase of $35 or more on dine-in meals. That is $15 bucks off on at $35 or $40 meal. I haven't tried it yet but plan to check it out soon.

    Thanks for the tip Foodie!

Here is what Dalyn and I get when we have lunch there.

" Carnitas Tereadas" For it is a wonderful dish with steak oinions and red and green and yellow peppers in some kind of light sauce. Looks beautiful and taste even better :) Comes with corn tortillas too :)

It is listed on the back page under Lunch and Carnes the third one down on the left.

Now if you like something other then steak I will have to ask Dalyn who is not around this weekend :devil2:

Their fajitas are awesome, and if someone can tell me what they use to get the unusual sweet taste in their fajita sauce I would greatly appreciate it :)

How does the Mexican Garden stack up against Anita's? Compared to Del Rey we love Anita's, but is it worth driving a little farther to Mexican Garden?

We just came back from a trip to Tucson so we now want the very best our area can offer

I haven't been to the Anita's in Ashburn, but if it's the same as the Anita's in Chantilly, then Mexican Garden blows them away and I would gladly drive the extra. Also don't forget to try Mariachi's in Lansdowne. Little higher price but it has some items you won't find at Mexican Garden or Anita's. Love their Ceviche :)

I agree one hundred percent about Mexican Garden as this is a rare find especially for the price and use the half off coupon as Foodie posted where to find. :):):):)

OK Foodie lets have some more rare finds. :devil2:

Only us privileged few are allowed to dine there on their first try. :pofl: Seriously it is in the back of the new center on rt 7 on the left driving toward tysons. Next to the center that has the cleaners that advertises outside there building their cheap prices. This is the new two story center next door with the metal roofs. :)

    redon1 and others--

You can also turn left at Richland Forest at the red light off Route 7 (where Children of America daycare is located--I think that is the name). Then turn immediate right to parking lot behind strip mall facing Route 7. There is a paved drive that goes behind the Richland Business Center. Mexican Garden is next to the piano store.

    Great food. Enjoy--;)

Lee--What kind of food are you looking for? Got alot of info if you wish other great places to dine.

Here is the easiest way to find Mexican Garden. Go down Route 7 to Sterling until you reach Augusta Drive. Turn left onto Augusta Drive at the red light. Strip mall is on corner of Augusta Drive and Route 7.

After turning left on Augusta Drive, then take an IMMEDIATE right onto Maple Leaf Place. Drive on the street and then drive to Richland Business Center which is next to strip mall where Dryclean Depot $1.99 is located. Mexican Garden is at the BACK of the new office building next to strip mall. You will see Mexican Garden's banner at Maple Leaf Place at the end of the street.

We ate there again tonight. There is also BUY ONE ENTREE GET 1/2 HALF OFF FOR LUNCH AND DINNER ENTREES coupons in the Clipper Magazine. Also, go online and print out same coupons for more savings. Clipper Magazine's info below.

    www.clippermagazine.com (Clipper Magazine's site/info.)

    Good eats--

Based on recommendations from the forum, my husband and I drove out to Sterling last night to give the Mexican Garden a try. The servers were nice and atmosphere pleasant. But maybe I went in with much higher expectations than I should have -- found the food tasty, but no better than any other mexican restaurants (ie. Don Pablo's, Los Toltecos, etc.). Of course, it is still WAY better than Broadland's own Del Rey Mexican Restaurant ;-)

My wife and were actually talking last night about our very own Del Rey...since we never go there anymore it would be nice if they moved out and HARD TIMES CAFE moved in. Still haven't tried Mexican Garden, but may do so tomorrow night.

It also depends what you get and your taste, we have had dishes that we did not like as well as others, but now we have our favorites :) I guess I lucked out on my first visit as what I got then is still my favorite. I have not tried the fajitas tho!!!!!!

My only problem with that place is it's location. Ihope they stay in business cause it is pretty good as far as Mexican food goes. And the guy that sings there is a good friend of some people we know. He is pretty good.

Do not forget about the Clipper Magazine coupons. Read my previous posts on this thread for details.

redon1--You might go by Mexican Garden and ask them to advertise on your web site. I already mentioned it to the owners. Also, check out Delia's Pizzeria and Grille, redon1, for the same idea. Both owners wish to talk to you from what I gather. :)

Went to Mexican Garden on Sunday and everything was great! Probably the best Mexican we have had in a very long while. Usually I take the side items of beans and rice for granted but I have to say that they were even outstanding!
