Ate tonight at the new location of Mezza Grill off Ashburn Road. Not as nicely decorated as the old location but the food was still very good. Menu was modified a bit but mostly the same. Not sure they will be very successful at the new location as that little shopping plaza doesn't seem very busy.

One of my favorite places in Ashburn. I really hope they make it. I got takeout on Wednesday and the kids absolutely loved the gyro meat, rice, and yes the chicken wings too.

sorry to see them move. we were regular customers, though in that location we will not be able to. just never over there and convenience is key.

Not to be harsh, but 5-7 minutes is too far to drive for a restaurant you like?

When we're that busy and have to throw three kids in the car to do so, yes. And not to be harsh but do you regularly spend your day disagreeing with all the posts people put on these boards?

Wellll, I do not see anything where I specifically "disagreed" with you.

I simply questioned why an extra few minutes drive is not worth patronizing a place you like.
I am assuming you threw your 3 kids in the car to go to Mezza when it was in Broadlands, and now the extra few minutes drive is not worth it? Kinda a silly reason not to go when you think about it. But that is your choice.

As for posting about DLL, which I assume you lumped in you above statement. Again, that was not disagreeing, but providing explanation.

    Have a great day!

It's actually more like a 3 minute drive from the old location to the new location...Broadlands Blvd to Ashburn Rd., cross over Ashburn Farm Pkwy, just past the Fire Dept. and you are there.

Is it in the same plaza as Mediterranean Breeze?

I hate to resurrect an old thread, but does anyone know if they are still open? Went there Friday night and the place was dark and closed. Couldn't tell if it was just for the night or was a more permanent thing.

I also tried going there a week or so ago. Big Mezza Grill sign is still lit up in white on top of the building, but the lights were all off inside. My wife said someone posted on Facebook that they closed.

they've been closed for awhile now. :( that location was a killer- AWFUL spot. only a mediocre cheap chain would probably be able to survive there

If I recall, the Broadlands Center doubled their rent and they could not afford it. They seemed to do a good business here but that new location was awful. Smaller, out of the way, and no license for beer and wine. A real shame since the food was quite good.
