Hubby and I had dinner at The Dock last night. I much prefer Bonefish. Prices are about the same but the selection is much more extensive at Bonefish. My mahi was good but very salty last night, the green beans were overdone and even after sending them back and asking for a new batch, the second set they brought were also overdone. I'll stick with Bonefish.

I've been there twice recently. While my wife LOVED her fish 'n chips both times, the two entrees I got seemed rubbery. I'm wondering if my entree had cooked more quickly than the fried fish for my wife, so they just threw it under a warmer. Even so, for $22 I'd expect my shrimp to not be rubbery.

We probably will still go from time to time; but I'm not sold that it's as good as I've heard from others.

When I want seafood, it's Bonefish for me. Consistent food, fairly priced, great staff. Plus the owner is a Broadlands resident.

Check out my thread about the "best seafood/fresh restaurant"--May's Restaurant. Redon1--even you should eat there--you are a "foodie purveyor" also.:)

if i ever need to BE in that part of MD during dinner, i just might! :) thanks for the rec though- it sounds nice!

i am a HUGE fan of Bonefish and Cafe Panache for seafood dishes, I don't eat seafood often (BAD shrimp allergy) but when I do, I know I can count on them both to be excellent. Not Your Average Joe's also has scrumptious and original seafood entrees on their menu- their Rosemary Scallop Skewers are unbelievable.

i'm a local girl at heart, so I need to get to the Dock to form my own opinion soon. I have heard great, lukewarm and bad things about it so sounds like aphioni needs to make a dinnder date at the Dock!
