Hello, I am the founder of a new website for moms in Loudoun County!
    We need your help!

Please feel free to submit any family friendly event to be posted on the calendar of events. The goal is to have a full calendar so that everyone can benefit from it! Community Yard Sales, Consigment Sales, Church Events, Festivals, anything that is family oriented.

We also have a recommendations section and it's becoming very popular, we still need MANY more recommendations from one mom (or Dad!) to another. The Daycare, Babysitter, and Pediatric Doctors section need many more entries! Each recommendation submitted counts as an entry intothe Babies R Us contest.
Please feel free to send in suggestions as well, this is a community website so community suggestions are always welcomed!

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. Thanks for your support!

cool! my favorite page is http://www.loudounmoms.com/coupons.html
i love a bargain! thanks for the lord & taylor tip and for the supermarket circular links. i am awful at meal planning- but am always trying to get better. my coupons always go in a drawer (the Coupon Drawer). what a silly place to put them since i don't carry my drawer around with me. i usually clean it out about once every 2 months and say to myself "i better get a coupon wallet and learn to USE it". i'll say it again, i like your links!

    Thanks for the feedback!
PS: I used to do the same thing with coupons, until one day I got fed-up and got a pretty decent looking coupon wallet on eBay for about $5. Now I keep it in my diaper bag...now I have to remember to take the RIGHT diaper bag! :D

Hello, I just checked out your website. Looks like a great resource. Thanks for posting about it. I love the user review section. What we really need is a local babysitter list. It seems moms are tight lipped about that information and don't want to give out their babysitter's information. I know when I was babysitting I always was looking for more families to add to my roster so that I was always busy. We have one wonderful babysitter now and would love to add some more to our list as we have a second child due soon. Please let me know if your website is able to compile a list or if you have someone you or a friend can personally can recommend. Thanks!

I completely agree with you! We have a section for BabySitters but so far only one person has written in recommending her daughter, but I could not use that recommendation since I need them to be from families that the babysitter has worked for, I want moms to have unbiased opinions. I would love to get some names and contact information for the site, it's really needed, so if anyone who reads this would like to recommend a babysitter, PLEASE DO!!! Getting recommendations for the site has been the most difficult part, that's why there's a contest to win a $100 Babies R Us Gift Card! Thanks for the feedback!
