Can anyone recommend a good, gentle oral surgeon. Need to have a cracked molar extracted. Ugh.

Hmmm, given the season, pricey is not on my list. :-(

Totally understand....They require you to front the money first then Insurance will be billed then they return whats left over. Ridiculous but I had a tumor in my jaw that needed to be removed and he did an excellent job.

I would avoid Village Oral and Implant Surgery (Drs. Chang and Strickland). I had a horrible experience there, both with the extraction and their demanding money up front with eventual return of what insurance covered.

I had the same problem with them with the demanding money upfront...but can't say the same about the surgery....they did an excellent job of it. But the demanding of $$ upfront, I wouldn't go back for that reason alone. Their office staff isn't that great either.

I used Dr Patel at fusion dental to do my wisdom teeth. They worked with my really bad insurance and I didn't pay a thing.

That said I got dry socket and lock jaw from it. They did work with me to get through it and always saw me quickly but I will never know if it was just my rotten luck or what.
