    Hey there Neighborhood Watch,
Is keeping an eye out for the graffiti taggers on the list of things to watch for? I know that's been going on in the business areas, but they're pretty close to the residential areas....
    Thanks!

I think the shopping centers have their own security. Not sure tho if it is every night.

I would send an e-mail to Donna Fortier (HOA Board member) for a better answer as she is the chair(?) for the program.

Absolutely, we are watching for it, but please do not hesitate to contact one us or the HOA office if you see any graffiti in the neighborhood after all that is what NW is all about. The faster we are able to address it the less effect it has and the better chances we have of catching the persons responsible.
I know most people realize Donna is a chair of NW but there are actually 3 of us (it is a large community). Donna, Erika and Stevens Miller took over as co chairs of NW about a year ago. At the end of last year Stevens needed to step down so I have taken over for him starting this year.
If anyone needs to contact me directly you can reach me at ssdkapinos at yahoo.com or my phone number is in the newsletter

The graffiti and tagging have been brought to the attention of the sheriff's department. It has been an on going issue, but one that seems to happen more in the summer and school holidays. The security firm was also made aware of the areas to watch for.

The best thing to do, as has been mentioned before is to continue to call the non emergency number for the sheriff's department. The more the police are in the area, the better our chances are for the offenders to stop.
