Any recommendations for a good pest control company? With the summer bug season I'd like to get started with a company before there are any problems. Thanks.

We just moved from a golf course and had to have pest control contract due to the massive amount of ants if we had not. Can you tell me is this also a problem in Southern Walk - ants, etc..?

We just moved to the area in January. With all the rain and our former owners gardening proclivity, we had a wonderful spring and summer growing season up until about 2 weeks ago. Now there is a pest about - the Japanese beetle! I remember seeing these as a kid but had no idea how much damage they can do when they're large in numbers. They have devoured an ornamental Hyrdrangea vine and grape vines in our backyard. Now they're munching like crazy on a birch we have on the side of the house. Anyone else have a story to tell about these obnoxious bugs?

If you look around you should see some poeple with these bags with a yellow plastic piece at the opening of the bag... They are for the beetles. Should be able to find them at home depot or lowes.

Oh yeah those bags work great. A little ugly to have in your yard but they do the trick.
