My backyard seems to be overgrown by weeds this year. Can somebody recommend a pet-safe weed killer? My dog likes to sniff around the backyard....

    Thanks.

Corn gluten meal was mentioned somewhere on another post or you can make a home concoction with white vinegar and dish soap. Some folks add salt for good measure. Someone here may have a recipe.

Thanks, KTdid. I saw a youtube video and it seems the weed comes back after 4-5 days......
Does anybody have any experience using vinegar/dish soap as weed killer? or any other pet-safe weed killer?
    Thanks, again.

Hand pulling? Just kidding...I think the corn gluten is more long term. Try to find it on youtube.

I have some pretty purple flowering weeds that I wouldn't mind keeping...unfortunately it comes with a lot of unsightly weeds. I have good luck with hand pulling if I can get the roots.
