Okay people- I need to rid of this thing. We already have too many TV's and this one has been sitting in the middle of the living room for a month.

    Make me an offer!!

Not that I am interested, however, you may want to seriously lower your asking price.

    A brand spanking new Pioneer PRO 111FD 50" Class (49.8'' Diagonal) High-Definition 1080p Elite® KURO™ Flat Panel HDTV retails for $4500.

Thanks for the unsolicited advice. I figured "make me an offer" indicated that I would be willing to take less. Guess it has to be spelled out for some people.

With that kind of response, I think you really hurt your chances of meeting a potential buyer...You should be grateful to get advice on here... there are quite a few members with expert-level knowledge about TV Technology including specifications, quality, prices and capabilities.

That model TV you are selling was one of the best available from 2006/2007 for displaying a 720p and 1080i signal in HD. If you can find one new today you should expect to pay around $2900... some places still have inventory it would seem.

You can choose to take the advice or help or not but it is very easy to cause confusion with such responses. I know, I may regret replying but T8erman is quite knowledgeable on this stuff and knows what he is talking about...

I was just trying to add some perspective since your orginal asking price was more than a "new" TV and DOUBLE the going rate for "used" TV. Geez, I just figured since you were asking for so much that you were clueless as to what the TV was actually worth.

I just wanted to "spell that out" to potential buyers.

    CAVEAT EMPTOR!
