playing outside

    i was just wondering if it was against rules to play an instrument outside, such as a saxophone, trumet, that sort of thing.

    I don't think there are any rules in Broadlands about playing instruments outside as long as you are not "disturbing the peace" and I don't think that means how well you can play. My daughter used to play her violin outside all the time, just pracitce out on the front steps. I think if you play your instrument outside most people will enjoy it and long as you play something nice.

    Unfortunately Loudoun is behind the times in noise pollution. You can do anything you want between 9AM-10PM but the HOA does have rules about enjoyment. If you live in a single family do whatever you want but I would ask those living in townhomes be respectful of your neighbors.
