It looks like Loudoun is definitely starting to get some of the amenities that you can find closer toward D.C. That's welcome news.

I think this is fantastic news! Regal could use some competition. I imagine we'll see an increase in customer service. Cleaner halls and theaters. Not to mention some pressure to hold down ticket fees, and concession prices. No doubt this area can support another theater. My guess is both theaters will do well, and we, as consumers, will see a better product. Chris, thanks for pointing this out.

If they are built as proposed, they do sound like an improvement over what we have currently.

I thought when they initially built the Dulles Town Center, the plans called for a multiplex-style movie theaters to be built adjacent to it. But, never heard anymore about it...

That is good news. Now all we have to do is get them to cut out the 30 minutes of advertising before each movie!

Leesburg deserves a nice theater. They should not have to drive all the way out to Cascades.
I have not heard anymore about theaters in Dulles Towne Center, hmmmm.
Yes, I dislike the advertisements esp when they show gross stuff and there are little kids in the theater.

Initally - there were plans to build a movie mutiplex at the Dulles Mall, but it fell thru unfortunately and they added Nordstroms instead. We really need another movie theatre....it's so crowded at Regal and expensive!!!!!
