    Chris-
Regarding your statement "Is there a reason to support the robbing of the American taxpayer?"
Are you stating that this is still occurring? They paid back 1.7 billion dollars to the taxpayers and dumped all those responsible for the fraud.
I'm a cheerleader for additional, desparately needed hospital and medical services in Loudoun County. I'm also pleased it will be the same company that owns Reston Hospital which has served my family and Loudoun county well.
But you are the self described "cheerleader for Loudoun Hospital" so it's clear your mind is made up to protect your pet facility at the expense of the health care needs of the rest. That is your right and you do it vigorously.

They did not clean house completely, Cliff. There was a Frist on the corporate Board during the period of fraud and there is one now.

T8erman: Mis-deeds and mis-trust are Bush's middle name, dude! How can you possible defend how he protected his royal buddies in Saudi when they provided the breeding ground (and much more!) for OBL?

OK....now George Bush supported Bin Laden's attack. I bet you are one of those conspiracy theory types that think FDR knew Pearl Harbor was going to be attacked and didn't do anything about it. I can also bet you think the whole moon landing "thing" was made up and actually happened on a Hollywood set.

BTW, can I assume Dean is to conservative for you?

Your posts are moving beyond conspiracy theories, and into the realm of urban legends. Once again, the source of this "logic" is the same "logic" that has concluded the hospital is not good for us.

Apologizes to others who read this banter, but there needs to be a truth meter against these statements.

afgm: Talk about rhetoric! I did not say that Bush supported OBL. However, I did say that he protected his Saudi old buddies after the fact.

Personally, I support Clark for the nomination, but I admit that Dean has spunk and a personality.

Also, it is increasingly noteworthy that you will not tell the participants in this forum if you are a Broadlands residents. Come on, dude, what are you ashamed of? The Farm, Village, and other many other communities around here are not such bad places to live, are they?

Chris: I am an Ashburn Farm resident. I have posted this fact before in these forums.

BTW, I truly enjoy our exchanges, please don't take them personally. Your posts provide a great forum for debate.

    Peace out "dude"! [8D]

afgm: I enjoy them, too. I always find it refreshing to see what others believe. It shows the diversity of opinions of a democracy.

You live in the Farm, eh? Why not move to the "dark side" and re-locate on the other side of the toll road?

chris - you should be a spin doctor! Regardless of what I or any other "conservative" says, you will spin it into how the GOP is ruining the country and the DNC is the only party that can fix it. Personally, I think both parties SUCK noawdays due to the overly partisan party politics (oooh, alliteration!). I think Bush is a decent albeit, not so bright man. I KNOW Clinto was a lousy husband, and outright LIAR. He was also a wuss for not finishing the job in 91 and for not going after UBL. At least Bush has balls and he keeps them out of his interns mouths!

    chris-
Didn't you vote for one of those far-right religious zealot candidates for Dulles District Supervisor? I guess all far-right religious zealots aren't all bad!

Maybe I should change professions! Maybe I will make that a New Year's resolution. Anyway, my day was made because a judge in Florida ordered that Rush Limbaugh personal medical records had to be made public! Oh, I do love it. He bashed anyone with a drug problem for years. Now that his karma is coming home to roost, he gets uppity. You gotta love it!

Cliff, I admit to voting for Snow. Are you calling him a fundamentalist right winger? I don't see that description on this website... :D

Are you talking about Steve Snow? My concern with Steve is he's not that familiar with Ashburn. Everything within his campaign was centered on South Riding issues. Hopefully, he will remember us.

In fact, if Steve really wants to endear himself to our part of his district...he should help get the bike trail connected between Broadlands and Ashburn Farm. That would be a huge sign that he is interested in us and not just things that matter to South Riding.

If anyone on this board can get a message to Steve about this, I think it would be a great thing for all of us. I'd love to talk to him about it, but frankly, the only thing I've seen of him in these parts is his voluminous amount of campaign signs. I give him the benefit of the doubt, until give a reason to think otherwise.

Hey Chris, maybe you and I can work on this together!! Unless you think biking would promote accidents, that would then promote injuries, that would then promote additional needs for healthcare, that would then promote the need for hospital facilities in Broadlands. :)
