    PICTURE YOUR GARDEN -
    HINTS FOR GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHY

Loudoun County Master Gardener Volunteers invite the public to attend a FREE monthly meeting on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Loudoun Extension Office in Leesburg.

This program will put you in the mood for spring! Looking at a garden can be overwhelming, especially if you are trying to make a composition that will incorporate all of the art elements appropriately. What are the basic art elements? Line, shape, value, texture and color, these elements are what can make your composition succeed.

The speaker for the evening is Dr. James Adwers who will inspire you to "Picture Your Garden". Jim will share his wonderful photos of the gardens he has captured with his camera as well as provide us with his enthusiastic approach to garden photography with helpful hints we all can use. Jim, a retired cardiologist whose in-depth hobby is garden photography, is the husband of Master Gardener Intern, Mary Adwers. This is one seminar where you might want to invite the aspiring photographer in your family to come along with you for the evening.

The Loudoun Extension Office is located in the Wachovia Bank Building at 30-B Catoctin Circle SE, Leesburg. You can call the Loudoun Extension Office if you have questions about the program at 703-777-0373. Debbie Dillion coordinates the Master Gardener Volunteer program.
