Purse and contents on street on Fieldthorn

Hi everyone,
I was walking my dog this morning at 6am and found a black leather purse and black nylon diaper bag with all contents spilled out onto the street.

The location is SW - Fieldthorn all the way down by the tot lot.

There were CDs, receipts, etc, but no wallet. It looks like it was taken from a car somewhere.

I didn't pick up anything.

If you have not already please call the non emergency sheriff's number to report this. With the other issues we have been having these small things are need to be reported. The non emergency number is 703 777 1021.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know what to do!

When I left at 730am, everything was gone. Maybe one of the neighbors picked it up?

Should I still call to report it?

Was it a coach purse by chance?

 

Someone actually called it in and the deputy who responded was able to collect the contents and return them to their owner. So no need to report it now. In the future if you or anyone sees anything at all that is out of place, suspicious,etc please do not hesitate to call. Something that seems minor to you may in fact be realtedto something much bigger and the sheriff's office does not mind responding in fact that is just what they have asked us to do.
