It has a much better effect if you call the establishment, speak to the manager, and explain WHY you won't be going there.

Actually, vacliff, we did better than that this weekend. We were walking into SFW and Bangkok BBQ was giving away samples in front of the restaurant. We gladly took the samples but told the staff that we would not eat their due to the road litter. They said that they had gotten complaints and had stopped the road signage in Ashburn Farms. So, later that weekend, we stopped in. The food was great, and the Boba Slushies were amazing! I highly recommend this place.

We had similar complaints with Mezza Grill. When we spoke to the staff, they denied ever having signs in the Broadlands. I told them that had just seen one and got a blank stare. So, we don't eat there any more.

    afgm,

Let us know if you see any more road spam from them. In the interim, I'll have a few more meals from there and a Boba Slushy or two!

    Greetings to all,

First off, on behalf of Bangkok Barbeque, I would like to apologize for offending any residents of the Ashburn community due to our "road spamming". Please understand, our intentions were never to litter in this beautiful community. If anything, we would like to contribute to making this a great place to live. As of now, we have removed all signage from the roads of Ashburn and I can assure you that there will not be any more signs posted. We are truly sorry. And please, always feel free to give me a call here at the restaurant to address any concerns or questions. My name is Timmy Nguyen and I am the general manager here at Bangkok Barbeque.

On another note, I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments. This forum was brought to our attention by a wonderful customer of ours and I wanted to make sure we addressed the issues at hand and formally introduce ourselves. We are a fast-casual restaurant and our goal is to provide our customers with a "new kind of thai". Call it Thai-Fusion if you will, but never less, just good food. Its definitely not your traditional thai restaurant(not saying anything is wrong with that). But we are different, we would like to introduce your taste buds to a new experience, familiar in some ways, yet refreshing. We use only the freshest and finest ingredients available and our cooking methods can be compared to fine-dining standards. All of this at a great price, along with a nice atmosphere, fast service and the fact that its healthy... I hope this will entice you to pay us a visit. And as an incentive for all the members of the Broadlands Forum, we would like to offer you a 10% discount for the month of August. While ordering, just mention that you heard about us and the discount from this forum, and the discount will be applied.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

we tried it out based on the comments on this board and enjoyed the meal IMMENSELY! i hope biz picks up for them- we were the only patrons from beginning to end on a Friday night. there is SO much competition, rent is crazy-expensive, and good places can fall thru the cracks without savvy marketing. the basil fried rice was excellent, i highly recommend it!

    redon1-

Thank you for your kind words and patronage. We are doing are best to keep from "falling through the cracks". Hopefully through marketing and a good word from our patrons we will be able to stay afloat.

We would also like to extend our incentive for members of the Broadlands forum. For the month of September, just let us know when ordering that you are a part of the Broadlands HOA Forum and we will apply a 10% discount to the total bill. Also, check our website www.BangkokBarbeque.com for specials and coupons that will be changing week to week.
