Home Repair Replacing Porch Railing

    We need to replace our porch railing. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

    We had a similar job done many years ago and it was botched, scrappy wood that rotted quickly, this year we decided to use Loudoun Fence and Deck to replace it. We'd used them our yard picket fence and were pleased. They did a great job with the railing, and used pressure treated wood, custom built before it was installed and the job was owner supervised. And much cheaper than your regular decking company who will try and push you towards composite, vinyl, etc.

    We went with Weatherwise Vinyl (www.weatherwisevinyl.com). Installed myself in one day. Never needs painting, lifetime warranty... PM me if you want to see it up close

    Thanks to both of you. We have Long Fence coming to give and estimate and we are going to look into doing it ourselves.
