Anyone planning to go down to DC for the Jon Stewart/Steve Colbert Rally?

How funny! I was just wondering if I should ask the same question! We plan to go but won't be the ones arriving at 7am to camp out and wait.

PPT, I am going to assume you are diggin' the satire.

You do realize that's the whole point of the rally don't you? What you said is exactly what clowns said about the Beckmyster. It's insane.

I think the point of the rally is that there are people who follow neither extreme. I know I just want honesty and fairness in politics instead of name-calling and half-truths. It isn't really a democrat/republican, Obama/NoBama thing.

Has the point of the rally even been published? Last I heard/read (yesterday), the organizers were keeping everything really close to the vest so that nobody would know what to expect.

I've been too busy today with kids' Halloween events and the Yemen/UPS flights/terrorism news to pay attention to the latest on this rally, so maybe I'm not up on the latest details.

And THAT is exactly who the rally is for - those of us too busy with the day to day to go to rallies.

    http://www.rallytorestoresanity.com/

Ours is a rally for the people who’ve been too busy to go to rallies, who actually have lives and families and jobs (or are looking for jobs) — not so much the Silent Majority as the Busy Majority. If we had to sum up the political view of our participants in a single sentence… we couldn’t. That’s sort of the point.
