You forgot about that scrapbooking store that some guy here said his wife was opening next to the sushi place...it's not on the floor plan but I think it's unit 20, so that leaves two. Maybe we'll luck up and get a Bath and Body Works in that large unit second from the right! :)

I don't think that they need that much help, but that they don't have anything else to do during the day. :)

If I can get one more gender poke in, perhaps thats the problem with the 'deadly' intersection out front...all the women drivers. :)

EDIT: Perhaps we can get a pub/bar in that large unit...then the guys will have somewhere to go while all the women are getting their nails/hair/scrapbooking done!

Yeah, the only non-lame store we have is the ABC store...

I would never step foot in:

    hair place * 2
    nail place
    blockbuster
    starbucks
    dry cleaners
    ladies workout
    mattress "discounters"
    sushi
    scrapbooking

I agree with Brim -- we need a manly place to go. It will be nice once Clydes opens!

In keeping with the vein of joking (and to prove that I have a sense of humor), I think that it's the men in the area that need more help. Walk around Safeway or Giant, and you'll see lots of chubby hubbies (sorry Ben & Jerry) with gorgeous women who spend their days keeping themselves fit.

No offense, but some of them need to get out and get a job rather than driving around all day spending their husband's money at the day spas and hair places. :)

Hey calm down brim.... It's a tough life trying to ferry the kids around to the Little Gym, the Botox place, Starbucks, and then get back in time for Days of Our Lives.

    ;)

Well, maybe the area needs a men's only work out place to go with the girl's only one. It could be like Hooters...you know, with scantily clad, jiggly female trainers "motivating" the guys. Maybe that would help more guys make it in to the gym regularly.

Of course this is all just joking... As we all know, obesity is major healthcare problem facing this country. =-)

I think that some of the men in the area are playing a BIG role in wanting their wives to be domestic goddesses (I don't like the term "stay-at-home wife/mom." In talking to quite a few guys in the area, they actually boast that their wives don't have to work with the implication being that they are darned good providers and that any man who has a working wife must not be making enough to support his family.

That's typical of the arrogance of some of this counties residents. They probably also boast about their Hemi powered tax break loop holed
    non farming suburban assault vehicles.[}:)]

Homer, I think that you may be right! I just overheard this in the Safeway: "My woman ain't gotta work cuz I wear the pants in my house, and I just bought me a Hemi."

Hooters.....hmmm.... that would be interesting. That is one establishment that is opposed by both liberals and conservatives but they still seem to do one heck of a business. LOL

Hooters would be nice, but the wife wouldn't be pleased. :) I love Hooter's wings but I hate the 'service'. I don't need some chesty waitress pandering for tips by pretending to be interested in every guy in the place. Just bring me my wings and leave me be. :)

Any place in that mall where a guy could go and scratch himself in public would be nice, doesn't necessarily have to be a Hooters....although that wouldn't hurt. And any guy who has to brag about his wife not having to work must have other issues (shortcomings). ;)

Sirs, I do believe that a Pub is slated for the new shopping center behind the Circle K. It is purported to be an "up-scale" establishmnet. I am happy to report that I am well within walking distance.
