George Mason University is selling a large number of used pianos this weekend. Contact the Department of Music for more information.

hmm... I would not recommend going to GMU to buy a piano. There are sales people there and you will have pressure to buy. They will tell you what you want to hear. Do your homework on pianos first before going to a sale like that and bring a knowledgable friend.
The prices are not that great. I have gone to these things (2 such) just to see what they have.... no bargains and the pianos are not that great AND they ship in pianos that were not student pianos but just used from their shop (the seller) so, buyer beware...

I don't really have a price range in mind. You are right, SK8R. I sould definately do some research and see.. I was thinking more along the lines of less than $2k for a nicely used... I still have my old piano at my parents house but they live over seas, so forget that,, :)
