    FYI:

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent home invasion that occurred Thursday afternoon in the Ashburn Farm area.

Loudoun Deputies were called to the 21100 block of Hedgerow Terrace shortly after 12 PM for a report of two victims who were awakened by two suspects entering a townhouse. The victims were assaulted with a small firearm. A third victim knocked on the door of the residence and got into an altercation with one of the suspects.

The suspects left the scene with cash, a video game system and an MP3 player. The game system and MP3 player were located outside the home. All three victims had minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

Sheriff’s Deputies canvassed the area and were assisted by the Fairfax County Police Department helicopter that provided aerial support. Although the investigation is still in its early stages it appears the robbery is an isolated incident as it is believed the suspects targeted the residence.

The suspects are both described as Black males in their late teens. One suspect was said to 6’2” in height with a medium build and was wearing a red shirt. They fled the scene in a white passenger vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division by contacting Investigator K. Poland at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they should contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
