once again taking shots in the dark, thats all you guys seem to do on here isn't it? make wild guesses. i didn't take a sign or break into a car. i've done nothing concerning you or your neighbors. im just tired of random accusations.

 

okay.....? you guys can post all the arguements and trivial matters on here, and no one gives you sarcasm. hypocritcal much???

Alright then, let's drop the sarcasm. Since you state to know quite a bit about what happened, why don't you share your view/slant/bias of what has happened at this particular home???

 

its not my business to explain what happened to you. how about you guys all get together and watch these so-called videos that claim the "perpetrators" were out at one in the morning. i think you should get the story straight before judging and accusing.

 

If you are not one of the perps then I would bet that one of them is a very good friend of yours. And as a good friend (right or wrong) you are going to believe whatever they say and take their side.

It is plainly obvious that something(s) have occurred at this residence and you and/or friends of yours are guilty of some trangressions as they have been stated (which I will believe) or even if they are over-blown.

It might be funny to SOME teenagers when theft and damage are involved but trust me, adults (which most of you will be one day) and the police take it very seriously.
Why not just RESPECT other peoples property and go on your merry way?

 

Doubt that would bother them either.

Now, take a wheel off their skateboard, Sharpie the television screen so it is harder to play the video games or take down their MySpace server and you might get a rise!

 

I would be willing to bet that the only reason that these signs were returned was because of the threatened legal action. If not for the idea that the law would get involved, these guys would have gotten away with it. And, from the tone of at least one of our newest members, it sounds like these kids didn't even learn a lesson from all of this. What a shame...

 

Frankly I should just turned over the dvd to the Sheriff's and let them pick up the three kids, but I wanted to be nice.

Based on the three letters of apology - one would assume that one if not both of your parents must have been standing over your shoulder while you wrote the letters of remorse. However based on the newest member of this forum & his/her post - it does seem like they have not learned any type of lesson.

Here is a lesson for you - next time you or your buddies messes with our property - look stright up (on the side of our house closest to ridgeway) and you'll see one of the three cameras on our property- which are linked to a PC & our alarm system (for active and passive monitoring). If there is a next time - you bet your sweet arse that I will not give you or your buddies a second chance.

 

Bit of clarification here. You are correct it did not happen sometime after 1:00 AM. That was a typo. It happened sometime after 1:00 PM and we are saying "sometime" because our time stamp is messed up on the recorder. However, just reading what you have been saying leads me to believe that you in some way are an accessory to this crime since you claim to have more accurate information. The only way you could have this information is if you know one if not all of the kids that took the signs or were one of the kids that took the signs.

It really does not matter if you did not take a sign. If you know who did and did not report it, you have committed a crime too. Maybe we should just contact the police, give them the information pertaining to this post, and have them subpoena the forum administrator for your information so that they can pay you a visit at your home.

Just food for thought.

I don't know what makes me more sad, the fact that you and your family have reason to have 3 surveillance cameras on your property linked to a computer and alarm system, or that there are kids in the neighborhood who have been raised without a moral compass.

 

Well I guess we won't be hearing from takeyourbestshot again.

What's sad is that you can't leave your car in your own driveway without it getting broken into or vandalized.

 

Good thought however that will not happen. I was talking with my neighbor last night and she works as an admin for the loudoun county sherriff's department and she laughed when I told her the whole stiuation. The most they will do she said is take a report and file it away. The best you can hope for is they get busted and somehow are connected to this crime.
