Does anyone know if the game tomorrow night is going to be covered on Openbands NFL network?

Not sure about openband (don't have it) but I know channel 20 is covering it - WDCA. Pregame starts at 7:30pm.

Since it's already a locally broadcasted game I would expect it to be blacked out on the NFL network.

Just checked our Dish network guide and it's listed on NFL Network for 8pm tonight.

I still bet it will be blacked out locally. Just like on Sunday Ticket, ESPN, ESPN Gameplan, etc etc, when the game is also broadcast on a respective local station the other broadcast is blacked out even though the blacked out station still shows it in the guide.

blackouts don't list in the schedule typically.. they just show black screens when you go to watch it :angryfire::angryfire::angryfire::angryfire:

So tired of that with ESPN and games broadcast on Baltimore stations that we don't get!!!

Games (like basketball) may be covered by Baltimore stations we don't get.. but because of the viewer overlap with the DC area... they are still blocked out on our 'DC/VA' viewing. Pisses me off

My biggest sports complaint living in NoVa (other than the annual "Redskins are going to win the Superbowl" homer predictions) was that the NFL considers the DC area to be in the Ravens' market, so we were forced to watch both the Ravens and Redskins games every Sunday, leaving only one other Sunday afternoon game to choose from. I got tired of having to watch Ravens games while other great (national broadcast) matchups were being aired.

Agree, and the worst part is that the Skins' offense is only slightly more interesting to watch than the Ravens' anemic offense. BORING.

I'll take that win. Hope Campbell is okay, although my guess is he's done for the year. I knew it was a dislocated knee when I saw it. Not good. Collins filled real well. And my GOD...Bryant Gumble has got to be the WORST announcer in the history of television broadcasting. I'd rather listen to white noise while watching the game. Thank goodness NFL network only does a hand full of games a season.

Happy for Skins and hope Campbell can come back. Seems like a good kid who is progressing and has lots of upside potential.

Agree on Gumbel. Makes the broadcast difficult to listen to. Have to say that Phil Simms annoys the heck out of me as well, even though he's a smart guy. He uses a fake announcer voice and is always over-praisng whoever is doing well at the time, without ever having a real opinion.

He is dreadful at calling a game. It makes you appreciate his brother's play-by-play a little more.

I was surprised to see it was broadcast on both the local station and on NFL Network (Comcast). Based on past experience, I would have really expected the NFL Network to be blacked out forcing local viewers to the local station.
