Meanwhile, if there are any quality issues in the way the current lawn care provider is handling your lawn, please inform Wes via e-mail or phone to get that corrected immediately. Wes is our quality control person, until further notice.

I think the fee is minimal. I would like to impose an extra 5 dollar fee to maybe come and clip me toenails. They are hurting.

    Hey Trump
I read you're school bus topic under General issues. For whatever reason that topic is locked, so I'll comment here.
    1. Learn how to spell.
    2. Are you related to Dang Yu Hung?

What did he misspell? And to be devil's advocate:

If you're gonna ding someone about their spelling, make sure you know the difference between your and you're.

Wes said the Courtyard homes lawn maintenance survey will be in your mailboxes this week (June 27 - July 1). Keep your eyes open. Get your pencils ready. Return your completed survey to Wes at the Nature Center by July 13th or sooner.

    Hi!
When we moved into our SW TH, we were told that we would only have to maintain our back yard. Then we were told at 1 year that we had to take care of it ourselves.

    1. When and why was this decided?

    2. What ever became of the Courtyard Homes decision?

    3. Village drive common area lanscaping looks like crap. There are curvy patches of mulch with randomly placed dead bushes. Some have lots, others have like two. Has anyone else noticed the awful job on the bushes up and down the entire street?

    4. Southern Walk-side of Claiborne Parkway and Village Drive common areas are so patchy and crabgrassy. They look horrible. What is our landscaping contract and what has been promised to us?

Thanks- sorry to complain- but I just see so much potential and I don't want our neighborhood's hoa dues to be wasted on a half-#$%ed job.

    Sunny-

    1. You were told in error that the HOA would maintain your front yards. This was never part of the plan for your townhouses, but sales people were giving you bad information. The HOA did not want to accept the responsibility of maintenance for yards that we were never intended to maintain. Your complaint is with Van Metre.

    2. Final decision is still pending. We are awaiting bids for the new contract to see what the prices are. We are leaning towards eliminating the fall mulching and retaining the remaining current services. An article about this should be in the next newsletter.

    3. This area is still being maintained by Van Metre. Contact them with your concerns.

    4. These common areas are relatively new and may take several years to fill in. This is also the time of your that is the most stressful on lawn areas......hot and dry! It is also the time of year crabgrass blossoms.

The HOA does work with the Developer to address areas of concern that the Developer maintains because eventually it will be turned over th the HOA. Unfortunately, the standards required from the developer by the county are pretty minimal.
