I personally agree with the comments that it would be nice to have the sports bar as a non-smoking place but realistically since it is a "sports bar" I think it is unlikely that the policy re smoking would change.

It's a bar, people drink, and this is VIRGINA, home to big tobacco, so a non-smoking option will probably NEVER be initiated here. However, soon you will be able to go into the district and enjoy non-smoking establishments. Just watch out for the car-jackers.

There are plenty of restaurant/bars in Virginia that are smoke-free. One that comes to mind right away is the Buffalo Wing Factory over in Ashburn Farm. My buddies and I go over there to watch games because it IS smoke-free (and all the different beers they have on tap).

Another couple of good non-smoing restaurants are Tuscarora in Leesburg and it's sister reataurant Magnolia in Purceville. Also, the Blue Ridge Grill in Leesburg (near the outlets) is good and is non-smoking also. We've enjoyed good meals at all three.

we LOVE the steakhouse. I grew up in Nebraska- raised on good beef! And their meat is the best in its class, IMHO. better than Longhorns, different class than Ruth Chris. Service has always been fantastic and since ESPN and the other networks show ice skating and curling instead of football on Sundays, it's a comfortable close option to get the games we can't see at home any more.

    Ciao,
