Subway wishing you a happy holiday

    I would like to thank you for your support in 2006. My staff and I would also like to wish you all a happy and safe holiday.     Yeah, Vince, there is something you can do for me...Either get rid of the "Rib-B-Que" or provide one that is less than 3 months old. That is one nasty sandwhich that I've received the last three times I've ordered it and promptly thrown it out. (My garbage disposer couldn't even handle it the last time I threw it down the sink).

    It's just not nice, I'm pretty sure that's what Pats was saying to you. I am sure you have heard of "manners" or maybe "decorum"?. Its that thing where you treat people with respect and with some amount of grace. You ever hear of that? Vince put out a nice holiday greeting only to be met with ... that ...
    If you have an issue with the product, bring it up to him privately. The other method makes YOU look bad. :poke:

    Vince was simply wishing everyone a happy holiday and thanking them for their support. He didn't invite your comment. In contrast, he provided numerous methods--none of which involved a public calling-out on these forums--for you to pass on your gripe.

    Yeah, fine. I should've canceled the order when I saw them head to the back of the store to find the slab of meat I've had for the last 15 years. My bad. I'll order from the rail the next time, just to be tactful.

    dutchml, I am terribly sorry that you had a bad experience. The BBQ rib has been removed from the menu. All you have to do is let me know if there are any problems. Give me a call and I will make sure your next meal is taken care of. Once again I apologize and hope you have a great holiday.

    You too, Vince. I'm sorry it's been removed from the menu. I didn't mean to start a flame war here over the menu. I've eaten at Subway for 20 years and hopefully I'll be back for 20 more. Now about desserts....(death by chocolate?)
