Sump Pump question...

Does anyone know the HP of the sump pumps in the SF houses in Southern Walk? I think mine's screwed (again)....it fires off...and then doesn't stop....and the float isn't stuck up...I was going to go buy a new one, and hire a plumber to install it. I know they're Zoeller brand...just not sure if they're 1/3 HP or 1/2. This is the 2nd one i've had to replace---so i don't think i'll be going with this brand again.

 

Just had my replaced. The original was the Zoeller 1/3 hp. I replaced with the same as mine lasted up until a few weeks ago! I think it was the only thing the builders installed that actually lasted! Carlos from JCT (703-726-9311) did my install. I would definately use him again for other plumbing needs.

 

Thanks PDILLM....turns out it wasn't a Zoeller...it was a Myers (deceptively green like the zoeller), and went to replace the switch in the top of it, and one of the wires inside was loose/exposed, and the whole thing was filled with water...not sure how this thing even still worked. I ended up replacing it myself (with help) with a new one from the Depot. Appreciate the contact though...definitely always good to have references for the future!
