And what about them Bills - probably the hottest team ever not to make it to the playoffs.

I have been a Bills fan ever since I got into football, and those four superbowls are very painful memories. After the QB debacle and the playoff win of the stinking cheating Titans I thought the Bills were gone for good ... but they are back with a vengeance this year. Just a little too late, but next year will be our year.

Nobody said they would win, everyone predicted bottom of the NFL. They said they were a doormat, yet here we are. We've won our division, we've beaten teams we should not have beaten. We have been solid in all facets of the game moreso than any other team. The "Super Chargers" will reign supreme come superbowl time, just you wait and see....:D

If the Colts somehow falter, I'm rooting for the Chargers too. San Diego has a miserable sports history so it'd be nice to see them win something...plus I'm a big LT fan. He's a nice, selfless guy who's carried the weight of the team up until this year.

They won...that's what counts in the end! :D

And I think the QB is pretty awesome myself...correct me if I am wrong, but isn't he ranked number one in the NFL?

Watch out...Blitzburg is back and I think they will have home field advantage to boot!

He's ranked #7 in the NFL, #4 in the AFC (Source: http://www.nfl.com/stats/leaders/NFL/PRAT/2004/regular ). But if you look at his stats over the last half of the season he is ranked significantly lower.

It's the regular season...and the teams they're beating (and not by much) are mostly horrible, losing teams. It will be a different story when they get to the playoffs and the teams they'll be playing are much stiffer competition.

No talk, just facts. Speaking of facts, I guess you missed that Edgerrin James is the second leading rusher in the league. Also, Dwight Freeney is leading the leauge in sacks and Robert Mathis is fifth. Not to mention a stellar corp of receivers, three of which are in the top 20. Sure, Manning is a key element, but you have to have people that are able to catch the ball to make him that successful.

Sure Pit has the top total defense in the leauge (yds allowed), but that's easy to accomplish when you're playing hack teams. There really is no argument here...they're beating poor teams and Ben is untested in the playoffs. At least they have to play Baltimore again...that'll be a good test for them before the playoffs.

If you're gonna root for a team, you need to admit the shortcomings as well as the good stuff. And I'll be the first to admit the Colts D is horrible, but they do have some outstanding individual players on that squad (see above). Some would argue that you don't need a D when you can score 40 points a game. :)

Your right, brim, I forgot, you're always right.

And Stellers was a play on words for those of us from Western PA and the Pittsburgh accent, Go Stellers!

Maybe I missed something, but I thought we are still in the same position as before last night -- #2 seed in the AFC (and that is where we will stay, IMO). We certainly didn't get passed by the Colts (Playoffs??? We're talking about playoffs? Playoffs!?!?)

Philly fans, so sorry to hear about Terrell Owen's injury. Hopefully he'll bounce back quickly after surgery.

I didn't make it through all of the game last night - how the heck did Miami win?!?! Ack!

Regular season or not, and regardless if anything chnages seeding-wise, it's still an embarassment.

Sorry to disappoint you, but my face isn't red right now. I'm actually a little bit relieved by the loss. We've been on cruise control all season, and except for the loss to Pitt hadn't really been challenged in months. I think this will settle us down and you'll see a more determined team for the rest of the season and into the playoffs (bad for you guys).

And maybe it's an embarrassment coming from the perspective of a fan whose team lives and dies by the regular season (case in point: Colts fans booing Manning for taking a knee to close out a good victory against the Ravens), but I can tell you for sure that this means nothing in the grand scheme of winning Superbowls.

Don't all teams live and die by the regular season? Isn't that the very definition of any sport with a playoff system? You do well in the regular season, you live by making it to the playoffs...do poorly, you die when the regular season is over.

The Bills may make it to the playoffs.

Keeping all fingers and toes crossed that the Jets lose this weekend.
